Welcome to Queen City Links Ladies! I’m Mary, mom of 4, and golfer. My first round of golf was more than 15 years ago, and I didn't love it. Fast forward through balancing work and having babies, I didn’t pick up clubs again until 2020 when people were flocking to any outside activities where they could safely socialize. I discovered I was not too bad at hitting the ball, and I looked for more opportunities to play and improve my game. I quickly realized that it was hard to find other women to play with. I found many women had never picked up a club. Just as many said they had a sour experience for one reason or another, and never wanted to try it again. Others were nervous about not knowing the rules, or not hitting well and being too slow on the course. 

So I started Queen City Links Ladies in August 2022 to help women find, learn and enjoy golf. I really love the game, and I think with the right introduction, the right instruction, and with a little social networking, more women can come to love the game of golf. I’m just getting started. Look for our events at courses and driving ranges around the greater Cincinnati area, and hopefully you will join in on the fun.
